UBT is looking for a full-time Architectural Project Manager- Commercial Construction, to join our dynamic design team!


Job Summary: As an Architectural Project Manager in commercial construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, in the federal/military space. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of architectural design and construction, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning and Coordination:



  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.


Design Management:



  • Review architectural designs and drawings to ensure compliance with client requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

  • Provide input and guidance on design decisions to optimize functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Coordinate with design teams to resolve any design-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.


Contract Administration:



  • Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Manage change orders, claims, and other contract-related documentation in collaboration with project stakeholders.


Budget and Cost Management:



  • Prepare project budgets and cost estimates based on detailed analysis and forecasting.

  • Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings or cost containment.

  • Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents related to the project.
