THE POSITION


The Regional Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for managing the sales and marketing initiatives in the communities, part of our Solista Independent Living brand. This includes developing strategic success plans based on outlined company goals that will promote revenue growth and improve customer experience within the region. Specific responsibilities include business and market development, customer expectation management, management of area market research, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, revenue growth, and ongoing customer experience improvement.


The RDSM will also supervise and develop the communities' sales directors, providing ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship. Specific core responsibilities include strategic and long-range planning, identifying appropriate advertising opportunities, and collateral needs, coordination of lead-generating events, managing referral relationships, and other tasks necessary to meet overall marketing and solutions objectives to meet or exceed portfolio occupancy and revenue goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Oversee the community solutions and marketing team members' daily activity and development.

  • Manage all aspects of solutions and marketing efforts for all Solista communities to grow revenue and maintain established occupancy goals.

  • Develop strategic and long-range business and market plans for each supported community with input and support from the Executive Director, corporate marketing, and operations teams.

  • Management of area market research, strategic direction for promotion and advertising, to support revenue growth plans and ongoing customer experience improvement.

  • Support referral relationships and other tasks necessary to meet overall marketing and solutions objectives to meet or exceed portfolio occupancy and revenue goals.


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE



  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the senior living or hospitality industry, with a successful sales leadership track record.

  • Multi-site/regional experience is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and methods.

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience with Yardi or similar CRM software is a plus.

  • Capacity to travel within the assigned region, including communities in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, and North Carolina.

WORK SETTING
