Role Overview

As an Android Engineer at our client's company, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge mobile applications that enhance learning experiences. Whether you join as a Senior, Staff, or Senior Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining features that facilitate the learning of subjects like Music, using Kotlin and other modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product design and backend teams on software projects.
• Develop, release, and maintain native Android application features in Kotlin.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within your team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming for Android applications.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work from or relocate to New York, NY.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing reactive Android apps.
• Proven ability to work independently, learn new techniques, and mentor others.
• Exceptional leadership and negotiation abilities.
• Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs, and writing unit tests.
