Job Summary:

The Director of Business Development is responsible for signing new clients (ex. Hospitals, Schools & Government Contracts), strengthening relationships with existing clients and generating exclusive staffing partnerships with clients. Utilizing effective consultative sales and servicing strategies in order to manage and cultivate new business opportunities for the development of long-term business partnerships while creating superior value for our clients. The Director of Business Development will also be responsible for providing support to other departments on special projects on an as needed basis.

Job Description:

  • Build and develop relationships with new and existing large clients to gain and increase overall job orders.  Act as a liaison and single point of contact with clients for all sales-related activity.

  • Collaborate with the Account Management and Recruitment teams pertaining to all contract details with a client and provider.

  • Analyze client’s business opportunities and threats.

  • Drive activities in a manner that increases brand awareness, product presence and revenue generation for all products and services.

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets and sales objectives, as defined by the Vice President of Sales.

  • Exercise effective consultative sales strategies and closing techniques to successfully achieve individual sales and performance goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Generate job orders in targeted growth markets.

  • Attends meetings as required (both virtually and/or in-person as required). Examples include mandatory internal meetings as needed and required, as often as monthly or quarterly, in-person meetings with clients, conferences, events, seminars, etc.

  • Engage in additional market driven activities and projects as requested by SVP of Sales.

  • Conduct on-site visits with clients as needed in order to strengthen client relationships and deepen understanding of client needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of the current issues within the Healthcare Staffing Industry.

  • Experience in Sales with a proven successful track record with outstanding sales performance in healthcare. 

  • Must be a team player with superb interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to penetrate large corporate accounts.

  • Ability to thrive in a challenging environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative, and follow-through.

  • Ability to travel nationwide up to 40% of the time.
