Position Summary






The Director of Product Marketing leads the Global Product Innovation, Management, Product Education and Product Campaign functions at Isagenix.  The role is responsible for the overall global product portfolio including strategic direction of new products from ideation and new product concepts to phase-out planning and collaboration for all markets. The role leads a team with a goal of driving sales and growth through effective portfolio management and by driving innovation into concepts that complement existing product categories as well as leverage opportunities to move into new categories and create campaigns as dictated by our overall company vision. The Director of Product Marketing also oversees the Product Education, helping to drive the overall product education strategy and deliver programs, tools and systems that empower our customers to learn about our products and share them with confidence.









Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)






  • Oversee product pipeline driving ideation, feasibility and execution of new products including developing solid business cases to support critical product decisions, including ‘go’ or ‘no go’ decisions.
  • Lead and influence new product concept refinement and existing product decisions including product strategy, pricing, packs, positioning and rebrand and campaign opportunities.
  • Outline key claims needed to be competitive in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate cross-functional teams to drive successful product launches, campaigns ongoing market penetration efforts.
  • In collaboration with the marketing team, utilize various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and events, to reach target audiences.
  • Support the internal and external Product Education function driving key strategies that help produce programs, tools, campaigns, and systems that empower our customers to learn about our products and share them with confidence.
  • Work closely with the marketing communications team to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.
  • Lead and drive alignment with cross-functional product teams (Creative, Marcomm, PODs, etc) to optimize speed-to-market and maximize successful new product launches.
  • Maximize product portfolio profitability through margin assessments, sales, and overall portfolio management. Track and report on product performance by market and report any key performance indicators to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Provide leadership within the Isagenix organization, bridging gaps and working collaboratively with multiple functional areas such as R&D, Operations, Finance, Legal, International Regulatory, Sales, Marketing and International Teams, including General Managers throughout our international markets.
  • Build multi-year global innovation pipelines aligned to our brand story maximizing sales and profit of existing categories and expanding into new categories across the globe.
  • Optimize overall company-wide product resource planning through effective prioritization of new product concepts, and a balanced approach that includes new categories, new products within existing categories, line extensions and limited time offerings.
  • Responsible for seasonal products and Holiday Campaigns including product and promotional bundles.
  • Utilize internal and external consumer Insights to gain deep understanding of consumer needs and drive consumer-oriented new product and product enhancement opportunities and end to end campaigns.
  • Collaborate with retention marketing and communications teams to manage customer product journeys, product promotions, cross sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Direct and oversee the work of product marketing and product education professionals, including training, mentoring, and insuring professional development. Establish performance expectations, skill and competency development plans for employees. Identify talent gaps and implement improvement plans.








Minimum Qualifications (These are the requirements that all applicants MUST HAVE to be considered for this position)






  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10 years of marketing experience, to include 7 years in a Product Marketing or Product Management role.
  • 5 years of experience managing top performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to write and create content that tells a compelling story to Associates, customers and prospects
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be a forward thinker.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Experience leading Stage Gate Process.
  • Success in driving incremental sales and profitability through effective new product and product portfolio management strategies.
  • Experience in gathering insights, collecting and interpreting market research and building business cases for C-Suite Executives








Preferred Qualifications






  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or Business.
  • Network Marketing Experience.
  • Experience in nutrition, food and/or beverage.
  • Experience in affiliate marketing.
  • Experience within organizations known for high growth through innovation and quality where products are sold through multiple and/or alternate distribution channels.
  • Proven success in creating and executing campagin concepts through cross department collaboration.
  • Experience in Global/International product marketing or product management.
