Join the Publix Technology Team as an Intermediate Software Engineer where you will be responsible to develop and support highly complex systems by gathering requirements, converting requirements to technical design, development, and implementation while collaborating with other technical and business areas.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions
    • Communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Must be able to maintain a consistently large, and often dynamic workload.
  • Have technical background with strong analytical, planning, problem solving, writing and presentation skills.
  • Communicate effectively with management, peers, technology vendors and business partners.
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in: .Net, C#, and Azure
  • 3+ years’ experience in data storage technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Azure SQL
  • 3+ years in designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and full SDLC experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with responsive web application design and development
  • 4+ years of full-stack web development experience with the latest .NET framework or above including C#, Angular, MVC and Microsoft Entity Framework
  • 2+ years of experience with ORM tools (Dapper, NHibernate, etc.), front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.) Kafka or other open-source messaging platforms, MVC, Web APIs, Azure DevOps Solutions and Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • 1 year of web development experience with Angular or Azure Cloud, TypeScript, Bootstrap etc.
  • 1 year of experience in building and deploying Microservices on containers such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • 1 year of experience in RESTful/REST web service development.
