Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a proactive, resourceful and creative Product Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Product Marketing with strong writing and communication, problem solving, and people skills. The Product Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for communicating the features and benefits of our products through compelling storytelling to drive growth and adoption. This Product Marketing Specialist will primarily focus on creating product positioning, product marketing collateral, sales tools, and competitive analysis, along with enabling our direct and growing partner channels.

The right person for this role is willing to try new things, excels in a fast-paced start-up environment, and doesn’t shy away from collaboration. Because this role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring the product to life, you will be at the center of our organization, constantly interacting with teammates and customers. In a perfect world, you’ll bring experience with both B2B SaaS companies and market research industry to the table, too! This isn’t a ‘build collateral’ position - this is one that will build your career and offer growth opportunities that are difficult to find in the market.

What You’ll Do With Us:

  • Conduct customer and market analyses to obtain an understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators. Stay up to date and be an expert on our position and value drivers of our competitive landscape

  • Empower customers to be real heroes both within their organization and external to their communities by creating tools, trainings and collateral to improve customer relationships, celebrate customer success and ultimately build Discuss.io advocacy

  • Be an owner of our sales enablement activities to promote and train on existing and new product offerings including the creation of trainings, solutions briefs and sales collateral (presentations, brochures, briefs)

  • Create new and manage existing product-related assets (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, brochures, etc.) that focus on the challenges we’re solving for our customers

  • Be a critical point person for our go-to-market process for new features, working closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing & Leadership to understand and bring new features to market

  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product

What You’ve Done Before:

  • 2-4 years of experience in product marketing or sales enablement, preferably at an enterprise SaaS startup with experience working across disciplines particularly with product and sales teams, is required

  • Worked closely with sales organizations, showing you understand how to engage, communicate, train, and build their trust

  • Exemplary verbal, visual and written communications skills and the ability to sell ideas through creative and innovative storytelling – writing samples are required

  • Proven track record of executing successful product or campaign launches with the ability to create, organize, and maintain documentation and enablement collateral

  • Highly motivated team player with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude, preferably with a great sense of humor

  • A people-person, someone who can converse and build relationships with anyone, anywhere

Why You Should Work Here:

  • We're working in a really hot space and expect to see significant growth over the coming months and years

  • We’re as obsessed with our employees as we are with our customers, and it shows

  • We offer a competitive benefits package, including employer paid healthcare, unlimited PTO with a mandatory minimum, flexible remote work, a 401k with generous employer match, and equity

  • We’re a results driven culture - we get things done, we treat each other with respect, and we celebrate our wins

  • As a part of our team, you’ll be able to clearly see the impact of your work and have a significant voice in decision-making processes

  • We are culturally diverse and geographically dispersed around the world
