We are seeking a Vice President-level Product Portfolio Operations Lead with a passion for leveraging data to accelerate product development, drive business growth, and enhance the Chase customer experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our firm's agenda to drive faster innovation by data modernization on the cloud. This role involves managing the compliance, roadmap, and timelines of work driven to support data utilized by the portfolio’s products. This candidate will ensure work aligns to business objectives. The role requires collaboration with the product leadership team and the product Analytics lead to coordinate and report progress of the teams work.


As a Product Portfolio Operations Product Manager in the Finance Portfolio, you'll transform the data product team into a strategic, forward-looking organization. You'll work across products to ensure delivery against business objectives, coordinating reporting and communication plans for portfolio management operations, and driving change initiatives for the Data Product team. Your role will involve tracking work in alignment of organizational controls, monitoring task execution, and tracking product work streams and KPIs. This high-visibility role offers the opportunity to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders and senior business leads.


Job responsibilities:



  • Works across products to support efforts to ensure delivery against business objectives and to coordinate reporting & communication plans for portfolio management operations & change initiatives for the Data Product team

  • Collects, curates executive summaries, and reports on product progress for all organizational reporting needs

  • Enables operational efficiency by supporting practices, maturation, training, needs assessment, and continuous improvement

  • Drives adaptation and modification of product-line wide framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing and tradeoffs are known

  • Implements product-level strategy for the Data Product Team of controls, financials, and resourcing needs

  • Coordinates key partners to enable the product to drive an understanding of the data and its use within the business.  

  • Coordinates resources in support of the product leads to resolve identified data issues in a timely manner

  • Develops processes and job aids that support the Data Product team to deliver in compliance with organizational process and documentation standards

  • Monitors the execution of tasks to comply with Firm-wide policies, standards, and procedures related to the integrity and protection of data in the product

  • Tracks product work streams and associated KPIs to ensure checks and balances for product delivery to support solving customer needs


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:



  • 5+ years of experience in program management, performance optimization/excellence, or equivalent expertise 

  • Subject Matter Expert in creating content and presenting to executive leadership

  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives 

  • Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies 

  • Subject matter expertise in Financial Services or Product Data

  • Experience managing delivery across multiple work streams with varying timelines


Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:



  • Willingness to acquire certification aligned to team’s tech stack if needed

  • Strong knowledge of AWS, or an AWS Certification

  • Databricks and Snowflake experience

  • Knowledge of Data Federation, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric Architecture

  • Knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture, especially in relation to AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric.


For this particular role, we are unable to sponsor any type of work visa including but not limited to H1B, H4 – EAD, OPT, E-3, TN, or L visas.


This role is not a remote position and does not have a relocation allowance tied to it, so all candidates must be local to Wilmington, DE or New York, NY or willing to relocate on their own immediately upon hiring.  


Candidates must be able to physically work in our  Wilmington, DE or New York City (277 Park Ave.) offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific hybrid schedule will be determined by direct management.
