Description

The position would travel up to 50% and visit basecamps two months at a time. The Project Manager reports to our corporate office in New Braunfels, TX.

We are seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will develop and implement strategies to ensure successful project completion. Experienced in managing multiple projects and proposals simultaneously while effectively communicating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.


Essential Position Functions


Project Planning and Coordination



  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.

  • Coordinate meetings and resources to ensure project success.

  • Monitor project progress within the schedule, identify risks, issues, and coordinate with stakeholders’ mitigation strategies.


Communication and Reporting



  • Serve as one of the primary points of contact for project-related communications.

  • Prepare progress reports, status updates, close out reports, and other relevant documentation.

  • Facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and schedules.


Business Development



  • Online Research for new bid opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.

  • Present opportunities to Executive Stakeholders.

  • Assist Account Executive / Sr. Director of Government Solutions with client communications and initiatives.


Strategic Sourcing



  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services specific to the project requirements.

  • Continuously assess market trends and industry best practices to optimize sourcing strategies.


Qualifications

Minimum Position Requirements



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • Prior experience: 1+ year of experience in project management and business development.

  • Certifications: Project management certification is a plus.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal team building, adaptability, and time management skills.

  • Technical Skills:  Proficiency in project management software like Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
