WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Transit & Rail Project Manager for the following offices: Washington DC; Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; or Texas.

Your Impact

  • Act as a technical expert on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects at all phases, from concept to construction.

  • Provide Project Management on medium to large-size projects with an opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing a scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Support larger projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Task Manager, or Segment Manager.

  • Aid local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationally with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.

  • Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.

  • Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals, and providing other business development support.

  • Management of technical staff.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.

  • 12+ plus years of experience in Corridor development, Transit projects, or equivalent.

  • PE or AICP

  • Experience working with the LA Metro on transit projects.

  • Experience with public meetings and knowledge of City neighborhoods, community groups, and elected leadership.

  • Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.


Preferred Qualifications 



  • Master’s Degree in Engineering

  • Direct experience with BRT

  • PTOE 

  • Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable.

Compensation:


Expected Salary: $150,000-$200,000


WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
