Staff Technical Marketing and Applications Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Application / System Engineer to join our Automotive Product Line team. This senior-level or higher role focuses on the definition and development of innovative analog and mixed-signal products for the automotive market, engages in customer communication, support, and issue resolution. 

Essential Functions: 

• Manage key projects within the automotive product line, collaborating with Design Engineers, Field Applications teams, and Marketing teams to define and debug analog and mixed-signal IC products tailored to specific markets. 
• Lead teams to continuously monitor and integrate the latest market technologies, ensuring penetration and engagement with key customers. 
• Interface directly with key architects and engineers at leading customer organizations, maintaining strong relationships. 
• Provide application support and technical training to key customers and field application engineers. 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply, with a deep technical understanding of switching regulator operation, performance, and design trade-offs. 
• Previous experience with power supply manufacturers or power management IC companies, particularly in LED driver or PMIC product areas, is highly desired. 
• MSEE or higher preferred. 
• Fluent in English with excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills. 
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000 - $180,000.
