Overall Responsibilities:
- Translate complex data into digestible and easy to understand information for developers
- Collaborate effectively across UX, product, and engineering and drive the design process
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure high implementation quality and consistency
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Delivering wireframes, mockups, prototypes, information architecture, navigation models, screen flows and UI designs that adhere to the firebase design system.
- Rationalize and justify design work clearly.
- Partner with research & engineering to inform designs based on user needs, goals and desires.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
- Related portfolio with examples of prior work.
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of industry experience.
Desired
- Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable below 5+ Years of experience in UX Design
- A strong portfolio of work samples showcasing UX prowess, creativity, and depth of thought for robust mobile and web applications.
- Effectiveness in working across ambiguous organizational boundaries to define, manage and design multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to embrace ambiguity and overcome time constraints to produce design proofs of concepts and/or concept prototypes
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- A collaborative and innovative spirit are a must.
