We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional services marketer to join our Growth Marketing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of Wipfli’s Nonprofit, Government & Education (NGE) industry. Your expertise will help amplify the impact of our clients’ missions, ensuring they reach their goals and make a meaningful difference in their communities. The NGE growth marketer reports to Wipfli’s Senior Manager – Industry Growth Marketing, as part of the firm’s Growth Marketing team and partners closely with the NGE Industry Leader and across the marketing team. 
Essential responsibilities 
- Develops a keen expertise of buyers through research, market insights and ideal client profile observations to apply to the development and execution of a marketing plan to engage, foster and grow buyer relationships. 
- Designs NGE-wide marketing plan and sub-sector specific plans for Associations, Human Services and Community Based Nonprofits, Foundations, Municipalities, PK-12 and Higher Education. In addition, helps brand building in the three targeted growth markets of Washington, DC, Chicago and Denver.  
- Translates business strategies and market insights into results-focused marketing programs by proactively proposing ideas, concepts and programs that contribute to the firm's strategic goals and generate a quantifiable ROI. 
- Owns the marketing strategy to drive brand and registrations for NGE’s Stronger to Serve Conference, which attracts some 1,000 people of human services agencies.  
- Owns understanding the performance of the NGE marketing strategy. This includes assessing the effectiveness of all NGE marketing programs. Provides observations, reports results, measures ROI and offers feedback that drives accountability for continued growth and increased marketing performance. 
- Writes innovative briefs and requests to marketing functional teams that outline core strategies, expected deliverables, ROI expectations and timing for NGE campaigns. Leverage learnings from marketing results to establish KPIs, success metrics and benchmarks for future campaigns. 
- Partners with business development team to align marketing efforts with business development plans and goals. 








Knowledge, Skills and Abilities






Required qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration. 
- A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a comparable role. 
- Extensive experience working in the NGE industries with a proven record working with nonprofit associations and driving relationships with these organizations.  
- Possess initiative, resourcefulness and be accurate, persistent and dependable.  
- Use positive influence to manage peers and/or those higher in rank and demonstrate the ability to foster exceptional relationships.  
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.  
- Evoke innovative thinking from fellow team members, while helping them understand the core strategies and goals of a marketing program. 
- Share lessons learned and best practices with internal clients and the greater marketing organization.  
- Is an excellent communicator and proactively helps and aligns internal resources toward execution.  
 
Preferred qualifications 
- Experience in a professional services work environment 
- Accounting or professional services marketing background and experience 
- Corporate experience serving internal stakeholders

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $97,000 to $130,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
