Job Summary:

 

Claro Enterprise Solutions continues to grow its U.S. customer base and seeks a highly skilled, motivated and collaborative product manager with expertise in cybersecurity solution definition and delivery. As part of a can-do team with a customer-first mindset, this technical expert will deliver to KPIs for customer delight and company revenue, while serving as a resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) both internally and externally. The Director, Product Management, Cyber Security will lead the product design, development, and release process for the cyber security offerings, and own the product roadmap. This cross-functional and pivotal role also contributes to a market-leading portfolio that delivers cyber-physical security, productivity and performance for our customers.









Responsibilities






  1. Drive a cyber security portfolio of products, services, and solutions to deliver customer delight, Claro U.S. revenue and market growth
    1. Identify how/where to continually build portfolio value that monetizes the vision (product, partnerships, etc.) and clearly lead this direction throughout the organization
    2. Prioritize product development resources to continually deliver differentiated offerings that meet business KPIs and market needs. Recommend engineering priorities and timetables.
    3. Identify unmet customer needs and execute on solution delivery that is competitively viable.
    4. Implement methodologies and strategies to continually obtain “voice of customer” data and feedback to better understand market trends and competitive factors. Use the acquired insights to influence product pricing, bundling, and development decisions throughout the product lifecycle
    5. Coordinate the collection, description, analysis, and prioritization of requests for new product functionality from customers and prospects.
    6. Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements.
    7. Maintain the cyber security product road map including all partner vendor and Claro-built technical assets.
    8. Work with technology and channel partners to align and differentiate the product portfolio.
    9. Oversee product launches, working closely with product and corporate marketing. This position also has a post-launch obligation of ensuring that the offerings constantly grow in the market; and that the product is continuously moving from awareness to adoption in the defined and new market segments.
    10. Lead product performance benchmarking activities.
  2. Increase Claro credibility in the cyber security community as a subject matter expert (SME)
    1. Develop and deliver thought leadership presentations, points of view and related content and deliverables.
    2. Develop and deliver persuasive time-sensitive communications for industry analysts, security organizations and partner communities.
    3. Collaborate with other product managers to identify and develop cross-solution thought leadership.
  3. Collaboratively support delivery of company wins and KPIs as technical subject matter expert (SME) and product leader across the organization
    1. Develop accurate product information and assets for all phases of the offering lifecycle, such as FAQs, training videos, service briefs, demos, analyst data, diagrams, specification sheets, etc.
    2. Work closely with Product Operations to ensure full implementation of cyber security products in quote to cash process within CES' framework.
    3. Enable sales by responsively supporting customer and partner deal progression, as well as crafting compelling and informative training.
    4. Grow the organization’s knowledge and insights into the cyber security market
    5. Work closely with Product Marketing and Marketing Communications to communicate complex product topics to our customers, company leadership, and go-to-market teams.
    6. Work cross-functionally to inform and brief teams on relevant technology trends, competitive moves, customer deployments, etc.
    7. Regularly share and contextualize clear “voice of customer” insights across the organization, both quantitative and qualitative.

Regularly provide inputs and analysis into product pricing, product strategy, and positioning for target customers, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, and product differentiation









Qualifications






Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual contributor role.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • Extensive U.S. product management experience in developing technology products and solutions, ideally in both mid-market and enterprise markets
  • Experience defining product strategy and product roadmaps.
  • Experience in Product Marketing practices, frameworks, and best practices
  • Relevant experience in cybersecurity processes, frameworks, and regulations (FDA/MDR/HIPAA/PCI, etc.).
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, including the ability to work successfully within multi-disciplinary, matrixed teams to agreed specifications.
  • Experience working with Cybersecurity standards such as NIST, Cloud Security Alliance, and ISO 27001 - ideally with Cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA)
  • Knowledge in security protocols and architectures associated with IPSEC, TLS, DTLS, Key exchange, Cypher mechanisms
  • Experience delivering and executing product security processes, standards, best practices, and tools.
  • Above all else, the cybersecurity landscape requires a constant curiosity and a continuous learning mindset—experience implementing integrated product offerings and solutions. 
  • Outcome-driven with the ability to define concrete metrics to measure the success of product initiatives.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Be proficient in assessing options (e.g., risk, performance, cost-benefit) and informing decision-makers with persuasive visualizations based upon assessment outputs.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend technical reports.
  • Highly organized and resourceful
  • Proficient in using business and technical data delivery tools such as Tableau, Jira, and Salesforce.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a product management role in the security industry for the US Market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent field as relevant to cyber security.

 

Language Skills: English. Spanish is a plus.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated above. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
